We've arrived!

We're here, after a fantastic flight. It's very strange being right in the nose of the plane. There were only six passengers in First, served by three members of staff. The food was excellent -- lunch shortly after take off, and afternoon tea just before we arrived.

There was plenty to see too. Skies across most of Canada and the US were clear. As we came into San Francisco, the Pacific coast was cloudy, but the downtown area of the city was clear, as you can see in the picture.

We were quickly through immigration and the luggage arrived in good time, so we were out of the airport in about half an hour. We met up with our car service for the journey into the city, and checked into the Crowne Plaza. We're on the 27th floor, and have this view of the Coit Tower, the bay, and Alcatraz.
